Networking
Wired and Wireless
DSL and Cable
Dial-up
Every home or office that wants to go online has to have some kind of network setup. A network can be as simple as a single computer and a modem from your internet provider. I always recommend having a router as well. A router adds a layer of security to your network,  can allow multiple computers to connect to the internet at the same time,  and also allows for file and printer sharing.

Hardware & Software

Troubleshooting
Maintenance
Upgrades
Repair
Computers can have problems. I’m sure we’ve all experienced at least one such instance. Whether its fixing a vexing issue, adding more RAM, installing new software, or just giving your computer a once a year cleanup; just like cars and people need regular checkups, so do computers.

Data Recovery
Non-Booting
Reformatted
Crashed
Has your computer ever not been able to boot up? Did you by chance hear a faint ‘click click click’? Did you let a friend who’s ‘good with computers’ try and fix your problem, and they said the best fix was to reinstall your operating system, only to neglect to backup your data? Your files are generally the most important part of your computer. Not only valuable, but sentimental. If you don’t have a current backup, data recovery is your next best bet.

System Security
Spyware Elimination
Pop-Up Blocking
Virus Protection
Firewalls
The number one issue with computers these days are virus or spyware infections. Good, and current, protection is mandatory. In those instances you do get an infection, often only a professional knows how to treat the problem in a timely and efficient manner.

Tutoring/Training

General Usage and How-To
Program Basics and Theory
Have you wondered if there was ‘more’ to your computer than you knew? Looking for ways to streamline your daily computer usage? Just switched from Mac to PC, or vice versa? There are generally four routes to take: Read a few computer books, take a class or three, ‘Google it’, or get personal one-on-one training.  Personal training is in my opinion the biggest bang for the buck, as well as the most efficient use of your time.
